The authorities are seeking help from the public in finding a man from Long Island who has gone missing.
Authorities reported that Carmine Mele, who is 65 years old, was last observed walking on Windsor Avenue within the vicinity of Bethpage.
On Friday, April 28 at 1:20 p.m., his absence was reported.
The individual known as Mele is identified as a Caucasian male with a height of six feet and two inches, weighing an estimated 180 pounds.
Police reports state that he was seen wearing a white shirt and gray shorts, with gray hair and brown eyes.
It is assumed that Mele is traveling on foot.
