Man wanted for taking pictures of children without consent at Smithtown gymnastics center

Authorities are on the hunt for the male individual who is alleged to have put a child's safety at risk in Smithtown.

As per the police report, the individual unlawfully entered Gold Medal Gymnastics Center at 253 West Main St. on April 29 between 12:40 p.m. and 1 p.m. During this time frame, the man allegedly captured images of both the staff and children present within the premises without acquiring any prior approval or authorization.

If you have any information, please contact the authorities as a man departed in an unknown registered, four-door sedan, potentially a Hyundai.
