In NYC, a drug and gun trafficking ring worth a million dollars has reportedly led to a number of arrests.

In Queens, officials are taking tough measures against a drug and weapon trafficking network that has brought in a million dollars, as they described it.

After a year and a half of investigation, many drug and gun seizures were made in Brooklyn, Queens, and Nassau County, leading to the arrest of multiple men.

The arrests are a result of persistent drug sales and violent incidents occurring in and around Rufus King Park situated in Jamaica.

Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz stated that during our operation of searching the homes of key individuals, we were able to retrieve drugs worth $1 million, which includes a total of five pounds of cocaine.

Officials stated that undercover agents were able to purchase both cocaine and ecstasy at least 40 times from one of the defendants, as well as acquiring five handguns, in addition to the drugs and firearms that were seized during the raids.

According to Katz, a cocaine press machine was seized by the authorities.

Katz stated that the cocaine was placed inside the machine, compressed into bricks and subsequently packaged before being sold illegally on the streets.

Major drug trafficking charges have been laid against three out of the eight defendants.

According to the police, being an undercover cop is a dangerous profession.

NYPD Deputy Chief Jerry O'Sullivan stated that sending a detective to a place with money to purchase firearms, which may be loaded, is extremely hazardous.

Adrian Escobar, purportedly the leader of the illegal drug and weapon syndicate, is currently evading capture and could potentially face a maximum prison sentence of 150 years if apprehended and found guilty, according to authorities.
