Winter Long Island Restaurant Week Kicks Off January 26

Long Island, NY — January 21, 2025

Food enthusiasts, mark your calendars—Winter Long Island Restaurant Week is back! Starting January 26 and running through February 2, this popular event offers residents and visitors the chance to enjoy exceptional dining experiences at some of the island’s finest eateries, all at a fraction of the usual cost.

Over 150 participating restaurants from Nassau and Suffolk counties will feature specially curated prix fixe menus for lunch and dinner. Diners can choose from three price options: $27, $37, and $47 for a three-course dinner, with some locations also offering discounted lunch menus.

A Culinary Celebration

Now in its 18th year, Long Island Restaurant Week has become a much-anticipated event for food lovers, showcasing the diverse culinary scene across the island. From upscale steakhouses and cozy Italian trattorias to seafood havens and farm-to-table gems, there’s something to please every palate.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to explore new restaurants or revisit your favorites while supporting local businesses during the slower winter months,” said Steve Haweeli, president of Long Island Restaurant and Marketing Group, which organizes the event.

Notable Participants

This year’s lineup includes well-known establishments such as The LakeHouse in Bay Shore, Prime: An American Kitchen & Bar in Huntington, and Café Baci in Westbury. Additionally, several newcomers have joined the list, including Salt & Barrel in Bay Shore and Heritage Farmhouse in Stony Brook.

Participating restaurants will offer a variety of cuisines, including American, Italian, Asian, French, and Mediterranean. Many of the menus will highlight seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients, ensuring a fresh and flavorful dining experience.

Supporting Local Business

The event has grown to become more than just a dining celebration; it’s a crucial boost for Long Island’s hospitality industry, especially during the colder months when business tends to slow.

“Restaurant Week is a lifeline for small businesses, bringing in new customers and ensuring steady traffic at a time when it’s most needed,” said Linda Sullivan, owner of Tulloch’s Table in Huntington.
