Ahsoka

Domestic Shorthair

Ahsoka is an independent, affectionate, playful and food motivated young cat. She loves to play with her toys and when she catches it, she will triumphantly yell as she carries it in her mouth around the house. She loves to eat and can be bought with food. She enjoys being pet, but it's mostly on her terms, like when she's laying down relaxing. Ahsoka gets along well with both cats and dogs.

Buttons is a very affectionate and playful girl. She loves to give kisses and enjoys lap time. She can get over stimulated and can get stressed with separation anxiety. To help keep her balanced, Buttons is on Prozac that she takes very easily every day. Our rescue will cover one year of her medication to an approved adopter.

Dakota

Domestic Shorthair

Dakota is a very affectionate and cuddly tortie kitten. She loves to be pet, to cuddle and to burrow herself under blankets. She can take a couple of weeks to trust new people, which is why we think she would do best with adults or older children (teens). Dakota's foster is working on acclimating Dakota to her dog, but we aren't sure yet if she will accept the dog. If you have other pets, we would recommend foster to adopt, to ensure she gets along with your pets.

Dakota was born June 24, 2023 and is located in Bellport, NY.

Dennis

Domestic Shorthair

Dennis is an incredibly sweet and affectionate cat. He loves receiving attention, following his fosters around and falling on his back for belly rubs. He gets along very well with other cats and can often be found cuddling and grooming his kitty friends. Dennis is such a sweet and gentle boy that he would do well in a home with children.

Dennis has food and environmental allergies. He is being treated with allergy immunotherapy drops in hopes to reduce and/or eliminate his allergies. It has helped tremendously and it's so easy to give him. He eats Primal in Rabbit or Pork and loves it.

Dennis is estimated to be 13 years old, though he may be a bit younger. It would be wonderful for Dennis to have a family of his own, as he really has so much love to give. She has the most beautiful markings on her face, we think she is quite the stunner! She loves to be pet and gets along great with other cats. She also loves to crawl on your lap for cuddles, she really is a sweetheart.

Eduardo is a low maintenance cat that enjoys his independence and the company of other cats. He very much enjoys being pet with a back scratcher and when he gets into it, will even start to purr. He hasn't graduated to being pet with hands as of yet, but we hope that may come with time and patience. If you have a cat in need of a companion, he may be a good fit for you.

Kayla

Kayla is a very sweet girl, who really enjoys being pet and playing. She can be bought with treats! Kayla loves mice toys and wand toys and gets along well with other cats. If you have the patience to give her time to acclimate, you may be a good match for Kayla. She also gets along very well with other cats.

Manny

Manny is a super friendly, confident and affectionate boy. He loves to cuddle, headbutt and just be with people. He's even friendly at the vet! That's a good thing because this boy went through quite the ordeal to get him well after being rescued from the outdoors. The poor guy has some food and envirmonmental allergies and being outside with all that pollen got him a nasty sinus infection. Lucklily we have been able to treat him successfully. Manny eats Merrick limited ingredient canned food in Chicken and Duck and has been doing very well on it. He is also being treated with Allercept Immunotherapy drops to hopefully increase his tolerance to his allergens. We've had great success with other cats on this same treatment.

Nutmeg is a sweet girl who enjoys attention and being pet. She will even headbutt you when she's feeling particularly amorous. She really enjoys playing, and gets very excited when a wand toy comes out or a mouse is tossed to her. She has an old leg injury that has fully healed, but left her with a mild limp. It doesn't require any treatment and does not appear to cause her pain.

Nutmeg is part of a bonded pair. Petie and Nutmeg are a mother and son duo. They have remained close their entire lives, cuddling and grooming each other. Nutmeg is very cat selective and is only truly comfortable with Petie. Due to this we feel that she would be happiest if they are the only pets in the household.

Olive

Olive is a cat's cat, very much enjoying the company of her feline friends. She can often be found cuddling with them or just relaxing near them. Olive is skittish with people, but she does enjoy playing via a laser pointer. She also likes to be pet with a particular feather cat toy, but will dart off when you try to cheat and pet her with your hands...little scamp! If you have a lonely cat in need of a friend, she could be the cat for you!

Petie is a confident and friendly boy. He can be picked up, face kissed, belly rubbed and will sit on your lap. He really loves people and just soaks up attention. He loves to sit with you on the couch and is a complete sweetheart.

Petie has an allergy to dust, which is easily avoided with litter that doesn't have dust. Litters that we use for him are World's Best corn litter and Naturally Fresh walnut litter. When his allergy was not under control he suffered from an ear infection that left him with a head tilt. He's well now and just needs the right litter. Petie also requires a special Urinary Diet, as he is prone to crystals in his urine.

Petie is part of a bonded pair with his mother. They have remained close their entire lives, cuddling and grooming each other. Nutmeg is very cat selective and is only truly comfortable with Petie. Due to this we feel that they would be happiest as only pets in their home. They need a special family to open their homes to older cats with a lot of love to give, but not many prospects.

Pinky

Do you have a cat in need of a friend? Pinky may be just the cat for you. Pinky gets along very well with other cats, and can often be found cuddling with them and playing. He does not like to be touched by people, but once he's comfortable he will sometimes rub up against you and put his head on you. Pinky may show you affection once he trusts you, but doesn't want you to reciprocate. He does love to play as well, with both people and other cats. He really enjoys chasing wand toys and having mouse toys tossed to him.

As Pinky will swat you if you try to touch him, we do not recommend him in homes with children. He needs someone who is very patient and doesn't expect Pinky to be their for the people, but wants a friend for a lonely cat.

Red is a gentle cat that would be great company for another lonely cat. He is ok with his humans, but he is happiest spending time with his furry friends. If you are looking for a companion for your cat, then Red may be the one you are looking for, but he's not a lap cat. At this time he tends to be skittish with people, but can be pet.

Red has no experience with dogs and would take longer to adjust in a home with a dog. He can be a bit of chicken and would do best in a more low key environment.

Rocky

Domestic Shorthair

Rocky is best suited for a home where he is the only pet or one of only 1 or 2 other cats. He has a preference for male black and white tuxedo cats. Rocky can be pet with a back scratcher and he'll hiss initially, but he stops and enjoys it after the small protest. He's not ready to be pet with hands at this time and we cannot guarantee he will ever warm up further to people. Rocky has no experience with dogs, but we feel with a slow and proper introduction he may be able to adjust. We do not recommend him with young children and children should be at least 12 years of age or older.

Rocky is not the easiest of cats and will take someone special who wants to give a cat that has few prospects a chance at a forever home.

Taylor is a playful cat who gets along really well with other cats and dogs. He would love to live with a cat that enjoys playing. He cat be pet, but he takes a lot of time to trust new people. Taylor does hiss whenever he's unsure of anything and will do that a lot in the transition of a new home. Anyone interested must be ok with hissing and have patience with him. When he trusts you, he's does enjoy being pet and loves to play with wand toys and a laser pen. Taylor is also super food motivated.
