The region is expected to experience hazy skies and deteriorating air quality as wildfire smoke moves from west to east.

The red areas displayed in the image from AirNow.gov are expected to experience air quality that is extremely harmful, while orange denotes air quality that is unhealthy, and yellow indicates moderate air quality.

On Wednesday, the weather will be mostly cloudy with temperatures reaching the upper 70s. There will be a possibility of showers and thunderstorms starting at midday and lasting until early evening.

After a prolonged period of unsettled weather, Thursday, June 29 will mark the end of this prolonged stretch, as the skies clear up and the temperature rises to approximately 80 degrees.

The quantity of sunlight will be influenced by the presence of haze caused by wildfire smoke, leading to a higher possibility of deteriorating air quality as the smoke clouds progressively move towards the east.

Friday, June 30 is expected to have primarily clear weather, accompanied by high temperatures in the low 80s, which might result in unfavorable air quality conditions.
