On July 26, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the shooting occurred in Medford at a residence on Cedar Lane, situated between West Lane and Barbara Lane.
Suffolk County Police reported that multiple gunshots were fired into the home from the street, resulting in an 8-year-old boy being grazed on his side by one of the bullets. He received medical treatment at the hospital for minor injuries, while fortunately, no one else was harmed in the shooting.
