An investigation is underway by the police following the killing of a man adjacent to a deli in Long Island as a result of stabbing.
According to Suffolk County Police, a person, whose identity is currently undisclosed until the next of kin is informed, was discovered lying on the sidewalk by a deli on Barcellona Place in Copiague at around 7:40 p.m. on Monday, May 15.
At the scene, his death was declared.
Personnel from the Suffolk County Medical Examiner's Office will carry out an autopsy.
