The public is being requested by the police to assist in finding a 16-year-old girl from Long Island who has gone missing.
According to Suffolk County Police, Carmen Thomas departed from her residence in Central Islip on Thursday, April 13 around 3:30 p.m., and her family alerted the authorities after she went missing.
Thomas stands at around 5 feet and 7 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds. Her hair and eyes are brown, and during her last sighting, she donned a blue hooded sweatshirt that had the words "New York" inscribed on it. She paired the top with blue leggings and SpongeBob SquarePants-themed Crocs.
