An investigation is currently underway by the police following the death of a teenager on Long Island who was shot during a confrontation.
On Wednesday, April 12 at approximately 3:55 p.m., an event occurred on Hill Circle in Calverton within Suffolk County.
Suffolk County Police detectives reported that 15-year-old Preston Gamble of Calverton was shot during a fight between two groups of teenagers and young adults.
After being taken by his family to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, Gamble was declared deceased.
