Long Island Teens Shaved Bald in Shocking Playground Robbery
SYOSSET, NY - In a shocking incident that has left the community reeling, two 17-year-old boys were brutally assaulted, robbed, and had their heads forcibly shaved by a group of three assailants at Crocus Drive Playground in Syosset on Friday evening, January 19th, at approximately 5:30 PM.
According to the Nassau County Police Department, the victims had arranged to meet with the three suspects at the playground. However, upon their arrival, the situation quickly escalated. The suspects allegedly attacked the victims, punching and kicking them to the ground.
The assailants then proceeded to tape the victims' mouths shut to silence them. Following the assault, the suspects forcibly shaved the heads of both teenagers using what is believed to be electric clippers.
The robbery was the final act of this disturbing crime. The suspects stole personal belongings from the victims before fleeing the scene.
The victims, while shaken and traumatized, were not seriously injured. They were transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment.
