Police have arrested the owner of a Ronkonkoma business for manufacturing methamphetamine in a drug lab on the premises.
The proprietor of a business on Long Island has been charged with running a methamphetamine production facility in the same structure where his company operates.
At approximately 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7th, the Suffolk County Police department received a call reporting a burglary at Quantitative Laboratories on Pond Road in Ronkonkoma.
Police officers, during their suspect investigation within the building, discovered various chemical substances and machinery that matched a setup for producing methamphetamine, according to law enforcement officials.
Additionally, the authorities noted the discovery of both liquid and hard methamphetamine, cocaine, ketamine, and a sum of $40,000 in currency.
Matthew Leshinsky, aged 23 and residing in Levittown, the owner of the company, was taken into custody on the charges listed below:
- controlled substance
- Two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Five counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance
- Third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine
It was anticipated that Leshinsky would face charges at First District Court in Central Islip on June 8th.
According to his LinkedIn account, Quantitative Laboratories is a fresh examination facility dedicated to measuring cannabis levels in the state of New York.
