“Germans Should’ve Ended Your Kind”: Long Island Therapist’s Hate-Fueled Message Sparks Outrage

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — A Long Island mental health therapist is under fire after allegedly sending a hate-filled message containing anti-Semitic rhetoric that has ignited community outrage and prompted calls for investigation.

The inflammatory comment — “The Germans should’ve ended your kind” — was reportedly sent in a private message by a therapist based in Suffolk County. Screenshots of the exchange quickly circulated on social media, prompting swift condemnation from Jewish advocacy groups, local leaders, and residents across Long Island.

“This kind of rhetoric is dangerous, disgusting, and has no place in our community — let alone from someone entrusted with the mental well-being of others,” said Rabbi Eli Goldstein of the Suffolk County Jewish Alliance. “To hear this coming from a licensed professional is absolutely chilling.”

Officials have not yet released the name of the therapist, though several sources indicate the individual may be affiliated with a local private practice. New York State’s Office of the Professions and the Department of Education, which oversees licensing for therapists, have reportedly been made aware of the allegations and are reviewing potential disciplinary action.

As of Friday, the therapist’s practice website and social media profiles appeared to have been taken down or made private.

Local lawmakers have also begun weighing in. “This is vile and unacceptable,” said State Sen. Monica Martinez (D-Brentwood). “Hate speech cannot be tolerated, especially from those in positions of public trust. We need a full investigation and accountability.”

Community members are organizing a peaceful rally this weekend in protest of hate speech and in solidarity with the local Jewish community.
