Suspect wanted for stealing Shih Tzu-poodle mix from owner's front yard on Long Island

Law enforcement is making urgent attempts to locate a dog that was taken from its owner's front yard in Huntington Station, Long Island.

Bandit, a mixed breed dog that is a Shih Tzu-poodle cross, was taken from his residence on Beverly Road at approximately 9:50 p.m. on June 21.

The owner is concerned as Bandit urgently requires medication.

The police have not yet identified the suspect and are hopeful that someone will recognize him and assist in locating Bandit, who fled the area in a vehicle believed to be a Mercury Grand Marquis.

A reward in cash will be given to anyone who provides information that results in an arrest.
