19 pit bull puppies rescued from car on Long Island
During a routine patrol in Wyandanch, a Suffolk County police officer discovered the puppies inside a car overnight. They were confined to two crates without adequate ventilation, shelter, food, or water.
Upon further inspection of the vehicle, the police found two loaded firearms, leading to the arrest of two individuals from North Carolina.
Additionally, a two-year-old child was present with them, and the toddler has been placed in protective custody.
