“A $33,000 Winning Lottery Ticket Was Sold at a Port Jefferson Store.”

New York Lottery has announced that a top-prize-winning Take 5 ticket worth $33,667 was purchased at the Sunoco station on 669 Old Town Road in Port Jefferson Station.”

It was purchased for the evening drawing that took place on Monday, October 30th.

Take 5 numbers are chosen from a pool of 1 through 39, and the drawing is broadcasted twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Winners are given a one-year period from the drawing date to claim their prize money.
