Drive by shooting in Baldwin by elementary school

Baldwin, NY

According to authorities, an investigation is being conducted by Nassau County police regarding a drive-by shooting incident that occurred in Baldwin on Friday.

According to them, the event occurred at approximately 11:30 in the morning on Dean Drive, located one block from Grand Avenue Elementary School.

According to the school, there was not any kind of dismissal that happened earlier than usual.

After receiving an alert from the school, parents informed News 12 that they became aware of the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made yet, as per the police.
