A Long Island mall was robbed and jewelry worth $136K was stolen by thieves.

East Garden City, Nassau County 

According to the Nassau County Police, a theft took place on Tuesday, March 21, around 4 p.m. in East Garden City at the Ethan Jordan Jewelers store located at the Roosevelt Field Mall.

According to detectives, a group of five people entered the store and two females took items from the displays. The group then diverted an employee's attention while the two females hid merchandise worth $136,630 and exited without making any payment.
