57-year-old Coram Woman Arrested Sunday Morning For Allegedly Intentionally Hitting Woman with Car
Suffolk County Police arrested a 51-year-old Coram woman early Sunday morning for Assault, after she allegedly struck another woman with her vehicle. Following a dispute in the parking lot of 1733 Montauk in Bellport, Philomena Mistretta, 51, of Coram, got back into her 2004 Toyota Sienna, and allegedly intentionally hit the 63 year-old victim.
The victim was pinned under the vehicle, and officers were able to extricate the victim from underneath. The victim was transported to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue with serious injuries.
Fifth Squad Detectives charges, Misretta, 1st Degree Assault, She was held overnight at the Fourth Precinct, and was scheduled to be arraigned at the First District Court in Central Islip on October 27.
