Brentwood Man Arrested After Allegedly Killing Man in Crash on Wednesday Night in Brentwood
A 28-year-old Brentwood man was arrested Wednesday night following a car-accident where he allegedly killed a pedestrian. Ian Fox, 28, of Brentwood, was operating a 2017 Kia Forte without a driver’s license when he hit a man in the roadway in front of 500 Suffolk Avenue Brentwood.
The pedestrian, who hasn't been identified yet, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician’s assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Third Squad Detectives charged Fox, 28, of Rigby Street in Brentwood, with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 2nd Degree. Fox currently has eight suspensions on six separate dates. He will be arraigned at the Suffolk County First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
