Mastic Beach Shooting Wounds 28-year-old Woman Thursday Night

Suffolk County Seventh Squad Detectives are investigating a shooting which took place Thursday April 11 in Mastic Beach at approximately 10:30 p.m. Seventh Precinct officers arrived at 88 Woodside Road in Mastic Beach Thursday night, following a report of multiple shots fired into an occupied house from a vehicle parked in front of the house in the roadway.

When officers arrived, they found a 28-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her arm. The woman was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. There were no other injuries in the house, and Detectives believe the house was targeted.
