Shooting at Bay Shore House Party Kills One, Wounds Another

Suffolk County Homicide Squad Detectives are investigating a double shooting in Bay Shore last night, which left one person dead, and another wounded. Suffolk County Police responded to a call about shots fired at 1320 Ackerson Boulevard in Bay Shore around 9:30 on Friday night. When police arrived, they found a house party with about 50 people in the backyard, and two people shot.

19-year-old Sean Mills of Bay Shore, and a 17-year-old female were found shot in the backyard. Mills, and the female were transported to a local area hospital where Mills was pronounced dead, and the female victim is recovering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

The Investigation is continuing, and police are asking anyone with information ro call the Homicide Squad at 1800-220-TIPS, or Crime Stoppers at 1800-220-TIPS.
