Two Suffolk Men Arrested for Multiple Burglaries Throughout Suffolk

Following an investigation by the Suffolk County Major Cases Unit, police have arrested Frank Costa 54, of Port Jefferson, and Jon Pucci 29, of Middle Island for breaking into ten business and attempting a burglary at another, a pattern that started in July. Costa and Pucci were arrested Eastwood Boulevard in  Centereach   on Saturday February 10, at 12:44 am. During the burglaries, cash and cigarettes were taken from the establishments. The duo were arrested in connection with the following burglaries- 

1) the Shell Gas station, 1511 Middle Country Road Ridge, on February 9,2024.

2) Kings Park Auto Care, located at 189 Main Street, in Kings Park on January 30 202.  

3) Back Country Deli, located at 70 Horseblock Road in  Yaphank on January 24 2024. 

4) Ideal Food Basket, located at 500 Jefferson Plaza, in Port Jefferson on January 12, 2024.

5) DJM Laundry Services, located at 1 Glenmere Lane in Coram on January  12, 2024.

6) Citgo,  located at 3200 Veterans Memorial Highway in Bohemia on December 31, 2023.

7) Gulf, located at 240 W Main Street in Smithtown on on December 29, 2023.

8) BP Gas, located at 1470 Middle Country road, in Ridge, on December 26, 2023.

9) USA Gas, located at 1146, Middle Country road in Middle Island, on December 11, 2023, 

10) Jiffy Lube, located at 5228 route 347, in Port Jefferson station on July 21, 2023. 

They were also charged with attempted burglary at USA Gas on located at 1146 Middle Country road, in Middle Island on December 26th 2023.

Costa and Pucci were kept overnight at the sixth precinct, and will be arraigned at the First District Court in Central Islip today, February 11.
