Why doesn’t anyone want me? I’m waiting for over 1 1/2 years at Brookhaven NY shelter I’m 8-9 years old. I’m not getting any younger and I really want a family. I really sick of this bar scene.

Poor senior Smiley 🐾has tried everything to be noticed. Not 1 application to meet him 💔 not 1 meet and great. Yes, He’s a black dog who wants to be your only dog but There is nothing wrong with wanting to be alone with your people. Not everyone is a social cruise director in the human world, so why should all dogs be . he doesn't want to be part of a dog pack and he definitely doesn't want to hang out at the dog park. What he wants is to be with his people, catch a show on the sofa next to you, have some snacks, and pass out happily on a dog bed.
