On Wednesday, Silver Brame and the family of 23-year-old Trequan Brame, who has developmental challenges, registered a complaint of his disappearance with authorities, over ten days after he left his East Patchogue residence on New Year's Eve.

"I have not heard anything from him since the 31st of December," the family member in distress, Silver Brame, shared with PIX11 News. "It's not like him to remain out of contact for so long; he normally only stays away for two days at most."

Silver Brame declared Trequan is the littlest of the five offspring she has, and added, “I’ve been looking after him since the day he was born.”

The mother declared that Trequan departed the dwelling they inhabit in the East Winds Apartments on Dec. 31, and was absent at the family gathering which took place that weekend.

Her relative's spouse, the proprietor of a barber shop identified as the Imperial Kutt Kreators on Montauk Highway, declared that Trequan had visited the barbershop on Jan. 3 for a haircut, but no one had seen or heard from him since.

The family is concerned about the mental wellbeing of the young man, due to his prior difficulties.

Trequan is said to be 5 feet 8 inches in height and weigh 160 pounds.

Should anyone have seen him, they are encouraged to contact either 911 or the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-(800) 220-TIPS as soon as possible, as a missing persons report has been filed with the 5th Precinct in Suffolk County.
