Suspect At Large After 4 Shot In Incident On Long Island

Four people were shot on Long Island and the culprit is currently on the run.

At approximately 10:40 p.m. on Saturday, March 25 in Hempstead, an incident occurred.

According to Nassau County Police, four men were shot when the suspect opened fire into a group of people standing on the sidewalk on Spencer Place near the intersection of Jerusalem Avenue. The suspect had a pistol in hand at the time of the shooting.

Following the incident, the perpetrator escaped by running on foot through Jerusalem Avenue and onto Searing Street, heading towards the south.

All of the victims were taken to a nearby hospital where they are in stable condition, and their injuries are not life-threatening.

There is currently no additional information about the suspect and the inquiry is still in progress.
