As we are in a couple of days into the new year of 2026, I'm almost positive we have a huge list of resolutions and goals to start and slowly procrastinate due to our inner thoughts and the voice in our head. Trust me, I myself am a victim of this. Having a power day where I want to accomplish everything right away, while other days I self loathe on the couch counting down the minutes. Self love and real change isn't always glamorous as we expect. New mindsets come with tough love as it is like ripping off a bandaid waiting for the wound to heal. As humans begin to experience the world and commit to new beginnings, I personally feel that consistency is key. Just like when your dentists keep reminding you to floss twice a day, staying on track will ultimately be your biggest advantage. There are many factors that could potentially get in the way of becoming the best version of yourself. The weather and being in the midst of seasonal depression, looking at your phone for hours on end, and just being around a toxic environment of work, talk, and energy. Whatever you plan on doing in the new year, make sure to lift yourself up instead of being knocked down on a mental pedestal. Mental health is just as important as physical health. Ultimately, do something this year that you were afraid of doing last year! Talking to a stranger, driving a car somewhere new, and taking that first step back into exercising. You may never know what you are capable of until you go for a test drive! "wink wink". Lets think good, dream big and always focus on the path we are aiming for:)
