As the sun shines away during dinnertime and the leaves start falling from the trees in your backyard, people start to get in the season of Halloween! A time between Summer and Winter, is a 3 month period of festivities, including spooky shows/movies that have us shivering in our pants before the snow arises within the months of December through February. With streaming services including Netflix, Hulu, and much more, people who prefer to stay home during the weekends can enjoy a night of scary and mysterious vibes. Whether those shows are creepy documentaries of a serial killer or a flashback of nostalgia including Scooby- Doo, we can get into the spirit of Fall. Especially during these colder months, people can often get seasonal depression which can happen due to darker climates and use of heavier clothing. I feel that it is important to make the most out of any environment because of the fact that it is only here for a limited time of the year. Don't hesitate to embark on community events including "Oktoberfest" in Long Island, where there are vendors, beverages, and live entertainment to ignite the social and trendy mood in October. Be prepared to dress warm and treat yourself to a nice movie with some snacks to keep you occupied! Happy Fall!!
