Missing cat

Please share this everywhere. It is urgent she is found!

Summer has been missing from Northside Drive in Noyac / Sag Harbor since midnight on September 9th. She is 17 years old (and healthy).

Important details below - please read post:

She is a certified and documented ESA (Emotional Support Animal). I have autism and PTSD. She is prescribed by a licensed mental‑health professional and is imperative to manage my diagnosed disabilities. My mental health and state are quickly deteriorating.

It has been about three weeks since we sighted her and it was in the same location as when we saw her the first time a week prior.

This is an unfamiliar area to her. I do not live here. We have been remaining here until reunion.

Things we’ve already done:

-Posted flyers and handed to neighbors

-Posted on Nextdoor and Pawboost

-Walk at night softly calling her name or casually speaking

-Look during the day without calling her in the surrounding areas

-Placed trail camera, feeding station and humane trap near last sighting location. We used various foods including deli meats, tuna, salmon, bluefish and canned cat foods. Sometimes I place catnip nearby.

-I have even sat / lied down in the grass at her last sighting location until about 1AM with a box containing clothing that smells like me, a plate of food, and a blanket that smells like me. I sat there for four - five hours quietly, except when I sang softly, which is what I always did when we would sit together at night. I am still intermittently doing this.

It has now been a month and a half since I’ve been able to hold her, be with her.

Please share this. Please like and interact with this post as well. Please help me bring her home. I have recently lost my mother, grandmother, (my entire family) and she is all I have. I’m in a state of severe trauma. PTSD and autism is what she is my support animal for.
