OAKDALE, NY — At only four weeks old, Brielle was trapped inside a stormwell, crying desperately for help as rain began to fall.

Thankfully, help arrived in time. John DeBacker contacted The Silent Prayer, Inc., permission was obtained to access the property, and rescuers were able to get the tiny kitten to safety. ❤️

Now 7 weeks old, Brielle has gone from stormwell survivor to a sweet, affectionate little kitten who is ready for the next chapter of her life: a forever family.

Brielle is a black domestic shorthair described as sweet, friendly, affectionate and purry. She is currently available for pre-adoption.

She can go to her forever home at approximately 10 weeks old after completing her veterinary care. For adopters within a reasonable distance, the rescue says a foster-to-adopt arrangement may be possible beginning at 8 weeks.

After everything this tiny girl has already survived, her rescuers are hoping her next big adventure will simply be going home. 🏡❤️
