Know Him? Man Steals BMW Left Running In Front Of Long Island Home
Long Island authorities are asking for public assistance in identifying an individual who reportedly took a BMW X7 that had been left running.
On Wednesday, April 18 at approximately 7:15 a.m., the occurrence happened on Girard Place in Merrick, which is located in Nassau County.
As per Nassau County Police investigators, a gentleman alighted from a dark grey SUV in front of a house on Girard Place and proceeded to get into a vacant BMW X7 that was still running.
After that, the man escaped with the car heading south on Girard Place. Authorities disclosed that a brief while later, the BMW was deserted and retrieved by law enforcement officers in the westward lane close to exit 36 on the Long Island Expressway.
The individual is depicted as a Black male sporting a black hoodie and black sweatpants, and the inquiry is still in progress.
