17-year-old Male Seriously Injured in Mastic Shooting Thursday Night

Suffolk County Detectives are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a 17-year-old Male in Mastic Beach last night. 

During an altercation in the backyard of a house on Neptune Avenue, a teenager was shot at approximately 7:25 p.m. The shooter fled the scene. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
