Nassau County Police stated that Valeria Chavez, who is 12 years old, was last spotted departing from her home in Hempstead at approximately 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5th. Her absence was reported later that same night, at 9:45 p.m.
Police located the reported individual in the late afternoon of April 6th.
The authorities are seeking the assistance of the public in finding a girl from Long Island who has disappeared.
According to Nassau County Police, Valeria Chavez, who is 12 years old, was last witnessed leaving her Hempstead residence at approximately 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5. Her absence was reported two hours later at 9:45 p.m. on the same day.
Her physical attributes include a height of 5'5'', weight of 155 pounds, brown and blonde hair, and brown eyes.
The last outfit she was seen in consisted of white sweatshirt, black pajama pants, and sneakers in red and white.
The Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad is asking individuals who have any knowledge about her location to reach out to them at 516-573-7347 or call 911. Confidentiality will be assured for all who contact them.
