Long Island Daily News is proud to help give local homeless animals a voice and a little extra exposure as they wait for the families who will change their lives.

Today we’re highlighting the adoptable pets of The Silent Prayer, Inc., a Long Island nonprofit, no-kill animal rescue.

There are beautiful cats and kittens currently waiting for their forever homes—each with their own personality, their own story, and the same wish: to finally be chosen. 🏡🐾

Some were rescued from frightening situations. Others have watched their siblings get adopted while they continue to wait. But their stories aren’t finished yet.

Maybe one of them is waiting for you. ❤️
