Man Arrested for Allegedly Robbing Multiple Businesses in Suffolk
Suffolk County Police arrested a 24-year-old Amityville man Tuesday night after he allegedly robbed a Farmingdale business.

Following an investigation by First Squad Detectives, Byers, was charged with three counts of Robbery 1st Degree for robbing the following businesses:
Quick Check, 1147 Sunrise Highway in Copiague on January 25, 2026, at 9:05 p.m.
Sunrise Variety, 215 Sunrise Highway in Amityville on January 27, 2026, at 6:47 p.m.
BP Gas station, 1100 Broadhollow Road in Farmingdale on January 27, 2026, at 9:40 p.m.
Byers fled each robbery after taking money from the cash registers. He is also being charged with Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. Byers was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and will be arraigned at the First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
