Coram Man Arrested for Arson After Allegedly Setting Neighbor's House on Fire
Suffolk County Police arrested a 43-year-old Coram man Thursday night for allegedly setting fire to his neighbor's Coram house.
Sixth Precinct officers responded to a report of a house fire at 23 Glenmore Lane at 11:45 p.m. A man and woman who lived at the home evacuated safely. Coram Fire Department, and multiple additional fire departments responded to extinguish the fire.
Following an investigation, Arson Squad Detectives charged a neighbor, Altariq Nixon, 43, with Arson 2nd Degree. He was scheduled to be at First District Court on Friday.
