Man Arrested for Shooting Acquiantance to Death in North Amityville

Suffolk County Police arrested a 20-year-old North Amityville man Saturday night for allegedly shooting a 17-year-old to death in North Amityville.
First precinct officers responded to 9 Francine Avenue in North Amityville Saturday night at approximately 8:55 p.m after getting calls for a report of calls of a male suffering from a gun shot wound.
When officers arrived they found Moscoso-Hernandez with a single gun-shot wound to the chest. Moscoso- Hernandez, 17, of Bethpage, was transported to G ood Samaritan Hospital in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.
Homicide squad detectives charged Bryan Ventura-Ramirez with Manslaughter 2nd Degree, and Criminal Possession of fa Firearm.
Ventura-Ramriez was held overnight at the Third Precinct, and was scheduled to have his first court hearing on October 20, at the First District Court House in Central Islip.
