North Amityville Arrested for Stabbing and Injuring Man Sunday

Suffolk County Police arrested a North Amityville man for allegedly stabbing his friend early Sunday morning.

Joshua Deluna, 32, and a friend, a 43-year-old Copiague man, were engaged in an altercation in front of 104 Madison Avenue, when Deluna, allegedly stabbed the 43-year-old multiple times. The victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment of his injuries. 

Deluna, of Madison Avenue, was charged with 2nd Degree Assault and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. He was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on September 15.
