Man Arrested for Stabbing and Seriously Injuring Another Man in Babylon Friday Night

Suffolk County Police arrested a 35-year-old Yonkers man Friday night for allegedly stabbing another man in Babylon. Two men were in a house on Park Avenue in Babylon near Siegel Street when they got into an altercation around 11:57 p.m. 

During the altercation, one of the men, Robert Bozowski allegedly pulled a knife out, and stabbed the other man in the neck seriously injuring him. Bozowski got in a vehicle and fled the scene. 

The stabbing victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. 

Bozowski was located in his vehicle and arrested on the westbound side of the Southern State parkway west of Belmont Avenue at 12:29 a.m. He was charged with Assault First Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree. 

He was held overnight at the Third Precinct and was scheduled to be to be arraigned at the First District Court in Central Islip on August 30.
