Woman Killed in Lindenhurst House Fire Thursday Night
A House fire in Lindenhurst Thursday night claimed the life of a female victim and left two men seriously injured. First Precinct officers, and first responders responded to a working house fire at 9 Stolz Place in Lindenhurst around 11:11 p.m.
Upon arriving, the House was on fire, and First Responders and First Precinct Officers pulled three people out of the house. Two men and a woman were taken out of the house. The two who haven’t been identified, were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip for treatment of serious injuries, while the woman was pronounced dead at the scene by the Copiague Fire Department. There were no other people in the house at the time of the fire, and the woman has yet to be identified.
Two officers were transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation and released.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and does not appear to be criminal.
