How To Get Your Share: Facebook Users Can Now Apply For Part Of $725M Settlement
People who held an account on Facebook at any point from May 2007 to December 2022 are eligible to request a portion of the $725 million settlement from Facebook's parent company, Meta.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Facebook was sued for reportedly allowing Cambridge Analytica, a former UK-based political consulting firm, to obtain personal data of approximately 87 million users.
Users of Facebook within that particular period have the option to either apply for the funds online or submit their forms by mail before Friday, August 25th.
