Vanilla is a beautiful girl with unusual markings. We are told that she likely has some Husky heritage and it seems based on some behaviors, that it could be true! Vanilla is very silly in her play and clown-like in her mannerisms. Vanilla loves to fetch toys and she even brings them back! She will deliver the toy to hand, but the releasing it part needs a little work!! Vanilla will benefit from a home with a yard to run in and opportunities for exercise and continued training. Vanilla is a sweet girl and a forever home is what she needs since she has been bounced around a few times that we know of in her young life.

I’ve been volunteering for a full year now and Graham was already there when I started. AND Graham has yet to have anyone show interest in him. Why??? Is he too plain looking? Is he too big? Is he mean-looking? I’m scratching my head over here! Graham is probably one of the most affectionate dogs at the shelter. He loves nothing more than you spending time with him. Loves both walking and playing fetch. Graham is around 3 years old and around 50ish pounds. He is so people-friendly but must be your only pet in the home. Graham is so worth it! If you are not able to foster or adopt, can you at least share…he needs to be someone’s dog, we need to find his people! It’s been too long! Cupid 💘 was rescued off the TX streets sick, skinny and barely looking like a dog.

He’s only known suffering, but still manages to have the sweetest, most trusting heart and gentle temperament.

He is a great protector and extremely loyal to his foster mama. Riv would do amazing in a space that is a bit larger as he is a strong boy and loves to run around. Charlie was surrendered to us through a court process after he had been seized and the owner charged with state animal neglect charges. While that is still an ongoing court case, Charlie has been cleared to go up for adoption.
Charlie has been declared a dangerous dog in court twice due to owner irresponsibility that lead to him injuring dogs when he was not on leash. Charlie needs a new home outside of New York. Charlie will need a secure fenced yard where he doesn't get stimulated seeing dogs walking by his house and where he can't dig under or get over the fence. He will need self closing locked yard gates that will remain secure. Charlie needs to be retrained not to build even more upon a drive that he has already succeeded in, with bad behavior. Charlie has great manners, skills, and he even knows his basic commands. Charlie will make a wonderful companion, in the RIGHT home. Charlie is affectionate and loving. He thoroughly loves attention from the people who surround him. Charlie got a bad wrap because he was in the wrong hands and we really hope for him to spend his senior years and experience life in the right hands. We have all become very attached to this guy, and he deserves someone else to share in the joy that he brings us.
