New ALDI Discount Grocery Store Set to Open on Long Island
LAKE RONKONKOMA, NY — Budget-conscious shoppers on Long Island will soon have another affordable grocery option. ALDI, the popular discount supermarket chain, is opening a brand-new location in Lake Ronkonkoma this summer.
The store will take over the former King Kullen building at 153 Ronkonkoma Avenue. While an exact opening date hasn’t been announced, ALDI officials confirmed the new store is on track to open in the coming months.
This expansion is part of ALDI’s ongoing growth across Long Island. In addition to the Lake Ronkonkoma location, new stores are also expected in Bethpage and Medford by 2025.
Known for its low prices, efficient layout, and high-quality private-label products, ALDI has built a loyal following. Shoppers can expect everyday essentials, organic and gluten-free options, and convenient services like curbside pickup and delivery.
The new Lake Ronkonkoma store will bring the total number of ALDI locations on Long Island to over a dozen, as the company continues to expand its footprint to meet growing demand.
More updates, including a grand opening date and special promotions, are expected to be announced soon.
