Motorcyclist Killed in Nassau Car Crash Identified: Police
ELMONT, NY — Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a tragic crash Tuesday evening in Nassau County.
According to Nassau County Police, 30-year-old Isauro Carrillo, a resident of Elmont, was riding his motorcycle westbound on 106th Avenue around 6:22 p.m. when a 2025 white Genesis sedan traveling northbound on Heathcote Road collided with him at the intersection.
Carrillo sustained severe injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital by Nassau County Police Ambulance. Despite emergency efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The 25-year-old driver of the Genesis remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No arrests or charges have been filed at this time, police said.
The Nassau County Homicide Squad is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward with information.
This marks yet another deadly crash involving motorcycles on Long Island roads this summer, prompting renewed calls for caution and awareness from both drivers and riders.
