Community Unites for “Cocktails for a Cause” to Support One-Year-Old Jackson Berry’s Fight Against Leukemia
Bay Shore, NY — The Bay Shore community is coming together in a powerful show of support for one-year-old Jackson Berry, who is bravely battling leukemia. The charity event, “Cocktails for a Cause,” hosted by Late Knight Warriors (LKW), will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 6:00–9:00 PM at The Tap Room in Bay Shore. Proceeds from the evening will directly benefit Jackson and his family as they navigate his ongoing treatment journey.
Jackson’s parents, Shaun and Jenna Berry, received the devastating diagnosis earlier this year. Since then, their lives have revolved around hospital stays, doctor visits, and treatments. Jenna has left her job to care for Jackson full-time, creating added financial strain for the family.
Local Businesses and Sponsors Step Up
Support for the Berry family has poured in from across Long Island. Bulovas Restorations Inc. has joined as the Event Sponsor, while numerous local businesses have contributed to the event’s Chinese Auction, including:
LI Ducks, RPM Raceway, Sayville Running Club, Adventureland, NY Islanders, NY Knicks, Brooklyn Cyclones, The Adventure Park, Larson’s Christmas Trees, Davis Park Harbor Store, Carleton Clothing, Casino Bar and Café, Surfside, Spiderbite Brewing Co., Queens Baseball Convention, and Clare Rose.
In-kind support has also been generously donated by Minuteman Press of East Northport, The Rustic Workshop, and The Tap Room of Bay Shore.
“The outpouring of generosity has been incredible,” said Laura Gottfried, Vice President of Late Knight Warriors. “Jackson’s courage has inspired us all. Every act of kindness, every donation, helps lift a bit of the weight this family carries.”
A Night to Remember
The evening will include an appetizer buffet, open bar, Chinese auction, and 50/50 raffle, making for a fun and meaningful night.
A majority of event proceeds, along with 100% of donations made directly in Jackson’s name, will go to the Berry family.
Tickets are limited and available at https://lateknightwarriors.com/lkw-cocktail-party.
Those who cannot attend can still contribute online or purchase raffle tickets via the website.
