Authorities have reportedly indicted a man from Long Island, accusing him of selling fentanyl-laced fake oxycodone pills to a young man which resulted in his overdose death.
On Thursday, May 25, the indictment of Jordan Mosley, aged 22 from Islip Terrace, was announced by the Suffolk County District Attorney regarding an overdose in December 2022.
As per the allegations, on December 28, 2022, Mosley purportedly sold pills to a 25-year-old man from East Islip, stating they were cocaine.
Reportedly, he made an offer to sell additional pills to the victim later in the evening.
According to the coroner, the man died in his house the following evening due to an excess consumption of fentanyl, xylazine, and bromazolam.
On January 26, 2023, Mosley was stopped for having excessively tinted windows and was apprehended almost a month after the initial incident.
In the vehicle, alleged to be the identical one utilized for dispensing drugs to the overdose victim, law enforcement officials purportedly discovered cocaine, plastic bags, and a scale, indicative of felony drug-related activity.
Mosley possessed many tablets resembling oxycodone and alprazolam, which were in reality infused with fentanyl and bromazolam, correspondingly.
It was also alleged by the DA's Office that Mosley was carrying a revolver on his waist that was loaded illegally.
