An individual, believed to be involved in a deadly incident involving gunfire on Long Island, is currently being sought by authorities and remains at large.
The authorities were duly informed of an emergency situation via a 911 call regarding gunshots being heard in the area of 166 State Street, New Cassel. This occurred on Sunday, May 7 at approximately 8:20 p.m.
Upon their arrival, authorities ascertained that a man of 26 years of age was experiencing numerous gunshot injuries, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
The individual in question was conveyed to a medical facility in close proximity, where he was subsequently declared deceased by a qualified physician. As of present, the individual's name has not been disclosed.
The inquiry is still in progress.
