Three People from West Babylon Arrested for Allegedly Robbing Lake Grove Store
Suffolk County Police arrested three people from West Babylon today for allegedly robbing a store in Lake Grove on January 13, 2026.
Three adults with two small children entered EPIC Outfitters at the Lake Grove Store located at the Smith Haven mall, on January 13, and left with merchandise without paying. While exiting the store, a 17-year-old employee confronted the suspects, and was struck multiple times in the face. The subjects then fled the mall in a vehicle, and the employee was treated at the scene, and refused medical attention.
Following an investigation by Fourth Squad Detectives, First Precinct Patrol Officers observed two of the suspects driving a 2013 Chrysler on Oregon Road in West Babylon on January 14, and conducted a traffic stop. Nyrell Hernandez, and Sheyanna Bussi, both of West Babylon, taken into custody, and taken to the Fourth Precinct.
A third suspect, Kyndrell Adams was arrested in West Babylon.
Hernandez 26, Bussi 23, and Adams 21, were all charged with Robbery 2nd Degree, a Class E-Felony, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Hernandez and Russi were arraigned on January 15, at the First District Court in Central Islip. Adams is being held at the Sixth Precinct, and is scheduled to be arraigned at the First District Court in Central Islip on January 21.
