Suffolk County Third Squad Detectives are investigating a shooting last night that injured two teenage boys in Brentwood.
Three males were sitting inside a parked vehicle on Madison Avenue, near Hewes Street in Brentwood when a second vehicle with at least three males pulled up in front of them at approximately 7 p.m. One of the males exited the vehicle and began firing at the first vehicle striking a 15-year-old in the hand, and a 17-year-old in the leg.
The first vehicle accelerated in reverse and fled the scene. The first vehicle drove approximately two miles to a Bay Shore street, and police were called shortly after.
The two injured teens were transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
