Man Killed in Stabbing at the CVS in Lindenhurst

Suffolk County Homicide Squad Detectives are investigating the death of a CVS employee after he was stabbed to death on Christmas night in Lindenhurst. Responding to a 911 call around 6:50 p.m. Thursday night, police officers responded to the CVS on Montauk Highway where they discovered a 23-year-old employee of the store stabbed in the chest. 

The victim, Edeedson Cine,23, or West Babylon was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip where he was pronounced dead. 

The suspect a white man in who appeared to be in his 40s fled the scene on foot. 

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the stabbing to contact the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392.
